The Muse has left
Nothing rhymes
No words to find
I’ve lost not just in life and love but hopes and dreams
Believing done
Quest abandoned,
No plans and schemes
Fantasies, realities colliding
One step forward then backsliding
Enough Cupid! Get it right
One arrow for me set in flight
I’m begging you, I’m on my knees
One arrow through two hearts please
Union of Venus and Mars
Child of the stars
Cupid, Eros, Amor
It’s time to step to the fore
Is what I ask too great a task
Oh archer extraordinaire, take up my dare
For surely you could accomplish this with ease
With one sweet arrow by your release
Great marksman nock a golden arrow fletched with feathers of a dove
Call on your blood, Anteros, to bring me requited love
