Here’s a blade

Head in the sand, you don’t understand
I can smell on your breath the stench of death
I’ve seen with eyes wide open
Filled to the brim with the truth we live in

The cruel callous hands of men as they toss life aside
No respect for Gaia’s child, no compassion

Never ceases to amaze
How you stand in the haze
Of lies and belief
As a form of relief
From atrocities committed
By the truth omitted
From the corpse on your plate

Blind as you are
To the torture and disregard

It’s a life you had no right to take
Rituals of slaughter in which you’d never partake

There’s a beautiful creature
Here’s a blade
Is your hunger for murder now assuaged
