How you move me
Breath catches and words flee
I never thought this could happen to me
Beautiful face, the shine in your eyes
Sensual voice with words so wise
The way you dress in elegant style
Your gentleness, your loving smile
To hear you, a sound so fair
No fantasy of mine could ever compare
The way you move and dance with no inhibition
Knowing full well you have everyone’s attention
The way you unashamedly paint your face
Yet of vanity and arrogance not a trace
But what moves me most of all
Leaving me helpless to resist your call
Is to see you dissolve in the words and lines
Nothing left, no space, no time
To see the feelings you cannot hide
When the poet is released from deep inside
