Sometimes
Sometimes in your life you meet someone
Only to ask yourself, is there anything you wish you had done
But you don’t regret your past
And you embrace the future, you don’t know will last
You enjoy a moment that takes your breath away
You wonder what lies ahead day after day
Thoughts of excitement and mystery flutter you up
They go round and round in your head like water in a cup
Then reality sinks in, but you choose to ignore
You are tired and don’t want to think life is a bore
Being caught up in the moment is all you want
New life and energy is what you chant
But it is for that moment and it’s all in your head
You floating in a bubble, while laying on your bed
You know its going to burst coz you have no control
But you did have a really good experience on the whole
